Painter (Shutdown)

We are seeking experienced Painters for an Oil & Gas shutdown project in Kuwait. Candidates should have hands-on experience in external coating repairs on piping systems and related components. The ideal candidates should be familiar with surface preparation, coating application, paint mixing, and inspection requirements for industrial piping repair work. Previous experience in Oil & Gas shutdown projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform external coating repairs on piping systems and related components.

• Carry out surface preparation by removing loose paint, rust, and other contaminants.

• Apply protective coatings and paint systems according to approved project specifications.

• Assist with coating repair activities on piping spools and other metal surfaces.

• Mix and prepare paints and coating materials as per manufacturer instructions.

• Ensure proper coating thickness, coverage, and finishing as required.

• Inspect prepared surfaces and completed coating work for visible defects.

• Use painting tools, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as required.

• Coordinate with piping, fabrication, and maintenance teams to complete repair work within the shutdown schedule.

• Follow approved coating procedures, PPE requirements, and site HSE standards.

• Relevant experience as an Industrial Painter in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Hands-on experience in external piping coating repairs.

• Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, and protective coating systems.

• Familiarity with industrial painting tools, equipment, and coating materials.

• Ability to follow coating specifications and site instructions.

• Knowledge of chemical handling, PPE, and industrial safety procedures.

• Previous Oil & Gas shutdown project experience is preferred.

• Immediate availability to join the shutdown project is preferred.
