Fabricator (Shutdown)

We are seeking experienced Fabricators for an Oil & Gas shutdown project in Kuwait. Candidates should have hands-on experience in spool repair, hot oil refurbishment works, and general fabrication activities required during shutdown operations. The ideal candidates should be familiar with fabrication tools, metalworking techniques, technical drawings, and site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform spool repair and fabrication activities as required during shutdown operations.

• Carry out hot oil system refurbishment and associated fabrication works.

• Execute general fabrication activities involving pipes, structural components, supports, and metalwork.

• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and prepare materials according to technical drawings and specifications.

• Perform fabrication, modification, and repair of piping spools and related components.

• Assist with the fabrication and installation of pipe supports and other required components.

• Use fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Inspect fabricated components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and maintenance teams to complete shutdown work within the scheduled timeframe.

• Follow approved work procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and site HSE standards.

• Relevant experience as a Fabricator in the Oil & Gas or industrial maintenance industry.

• Hands-on experience in spool repair and piping fabrication.

• Experience in hot oil system refurbishment works is preferred.

• Knowledge of cutting, grinding, fitting, measuring, and fabrication techniques.

• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with fabrication tools, equipment, and workshop practices.

• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Previous Oil & Gas shutdown project experience is preferred.

• Immediate availability to join the shutdown project is preferred.
