Electrical Fitter (Shutdown)

We are seeking Electrical Fitters for an Oil & Gas shutdown project in Kuwait. Candidates will assist Electrical Technicians with electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair activities. The ideal candidates should have basic knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, cabling, and site safety procedures. Previous experience in Oil & Gas shutdown projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Electrical Technicians with electrical maintenance and operational activities during plant shutdowns.

• Support electrical equipment installation, removal, inspection, and reinstallation.

• Assist with cable pulling, routing, dressing, and termination activities under supervision.

• Support the inspection and maintenance of electrical panels, feeders, and associated equipment.

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of lighting systems, tower lights, and temporary electrical equipment.

• Support temporary generator shifting, cabling, and connection activities as instructed.

• Handle electrical tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Assist with electrical work-pack activities assigned to day and night shift teams.

• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.

• Follow approved work procedures, electrical isolation requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and site HSE standards.

Relevant experience as an Electrical Fitter in the Oil & Gas or industrial maintenance industry is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance activities.

• Familiarity with electrical tools, cables, fittings, and equipment.

• Ability to assist with cable pulling, equipment installation, and electrical maintenance tasks.

• Knowledge of workplace electrical safety and permit-to-work requirements.

• Willingness to work day and night shifts during shutdown activities.

• Previous Oil & Gas shutdown project experience is preferred.

• Immediate availability to join the shutdown project is preferred.
