Instrument Tube Fitter (Shutdown)

We are seeking experienced Instrument Tube Fitters for an Oil & Gas shutdown project in Kuwait. Candidates should have hands-on experience in instrument tubing installation, tube support installation, and valve tubing installation. The role may involve working at height and confined space entry, so candidates must be familiar with the relevant safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out instrument tubing installation as per project specifications and technical drawings.

• Install tube supports, brackets, and associated fittings.

• Perform tubing installation for instrument valves and related equipment.

• Cut, bend, route, and fit instrument tubing according to approved drawings.

• Ensure proper tubing alignment, routing, and secure support installation.

• Inspect tubing connections and fittings to ensure proper installation and leak-free joints.

• Coordinate with instrument technicians and other site teams to complete assigned activities within the shutdown schedule.

• Follow permit-to-work requirements and safety procedures for work at height and confined space entry.

• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with site HSE requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Relevant experience as an Instrument Tube Fitter in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Hands-on experience in instrument tubing installation and tube support installation.

• Experience in instrument valve tubing installation and fitting.

• Knowledge of tubing materials, fittings, bending tools, and installation techniques.

• Ability to read and understand instrument drawings and installation details.

• Familiarity with work-at-height and confined-space safety procedures.

• Previous experience in Oil & Gas shutdown projects is preferred.

• Immediate availability to join the shutdown project is preferred.
