PF Welding & Coating Inspector – Site Role

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Welding & Coating Inspector to ensure quality and compliance of welding, piping, painting, and coating activities at site. The ideal candidate should have strong QA/QC experience in Engineering, EPCC, and Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance of welding, piping, painting, and coating works with project specifications

* Conduct timely inspections and prepare inspection reports

* Review Method Statements, ITPs, Quality Procedures, and construction documents

* Perform stage and final inspections for welding, metallic/non-metallic piping, and coating works

* Coordinate with clients for witness inspections

* Raise and follow up NCRs and coordinate with contractors for closure

* Inspect special welding processes including cladding, overlay, inlay, and dissimilar welding

* Perform welder qualification witnessing and approval

* Conduct NDE inspections, hydrotests, and piping line walks

* Perform piping painting and coating inspections

* Perform ITR inspections and update quality systems

* Conduct mechanical walkdowns and record punch items

* Verify contractor quality documents, tests, controls, and inspection records

* Support project quality audits and monitor compliance with Quality Control Plans

* Maintain quality records through Aconex / QUEST / InTouch

Required Experience & Qualifications:

* Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC / Quality Inspection experience in Engineering, EPCC, or Oil & Gas

* Strong experience in welding, piping, special welding processes, non-metallic piping, pipelines, painting & coating

* ASNT SNTC Level II certification in MT, PT, UT, RT & VT

* Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification

* Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, VIII & IX and AWS D1.1

* Previous Oil & Gas / site construction experience preferred

Preferred Certifications & Skills:

* CSWIP 3.1 or AWS equivalent

* BGAS or equivalent certification

* ISO 9001 Auditing experience

* Root Cause Analysis knowledge

* Experience with NCR management, NDE, hydrotesting and line walks
